Laura Bonnie is a painter and illustrator currently residing in Victoria, BC. Frequent subjects include animals, the fantastical, story scenes, and all manners of dream imagery. She holds a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University, and in 2018 she founded North Park Art Studio, where she currently teaches art classes and workshops to various ages and enjoys sharing the creative process.
Inspiration for her current series involves enchanting imagery harvested from candid and everyday snapshots, and an ongoing fascination with insect life, transformation, and the subconscious.
