A great deal of project flexibility is possible in this workshop, depending on your artistic interests. The multi-week format of this course allows for in-depth and tailored instruction, and we will go deeper into colour theory and colour mixing as well as other painting techniques and compositional concerns. Likely themes include adapting to a larger canvas, refining and building upon existing skills and creative problem solving to better express your unique viewpoint through painting.
PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENT: This workshop will be building upon painting basics as introduced in any of my beginner level painting workshops. Thusly a prior acrylic painting workshop at the studio (ideally Acrylics 1) is required.
